Your 305 Conquest comes equipped with navigation
lighting for your safety. Regulations state that all boats
under power no matter the size must display navigation
lights.
OPERATION: Control of the navigation lighting is a
switch on the instrument panel that is marked “NAV/
ANC”. The switch has 3 positions to operate the Navi-
gation/Anchor lighting. The lights let other vessels know
the approximate size of your boat and the direction your
boat is traveling, depending on which lights they can see,
they also show other boaters your location while at an-
chor. The lights must be displayed at night or in low
visibility conditions. It is the responsibility of the owner/
operator to ensure that the navigation lights are in good
working order and that the proper lighting is shown

The more lights a vessel has, the larger it is and the
more important it is for you to avoid it.

The navigation light located on the hard-top can be ad-
justed to lay down flat. Be sure that it is in the upright
position when that light is in operation.

Installing after market accessories such as: radar domes,
arches, dishes etc. will obstruct the navigation light and
decrease its effectiveness. It is the responsibility of the
boat owner to comply with regulations regarding the
normal operation of the navigation lights.
