Section 6 - Water & Waste System
The seacock MUST be in the OPEN position. Running
the pump dry may cause damage to the unit.
NOTICE
Raw Water
There is a raw water fitting that can be used to connect
a common garden hose to allow you to spray raw water
for rinsing the cockpit. The raw water connection is lo-
cated at the port aft corner. It is a male fitting with a cap
and tether. The cap should be on the connection when it
is not in use. The connection is supplied by a 3.5 GPM
pump.
OPERATION:
The raw water pump has a seacock that needs to be set
in the OPEN position before pump operation. The
seacock can be reached through the hatch located on
the cockpit floor. The RAW WATER switch on the in-
strument panel at the helm controls pump operation.
MAINTENANCE:
Maintenance of the raw water system will require you to
check the fittings and hoses for system integrity to pre-
vent leaks. The system should be operated at least ev-
ery other month to keep the pump impeller in good con-
dition.
