Fuel System
GENERAL
FUEL,
CAUTION
Leaking fuel is a fire and explosion hazard, inspect the
system regularly. Examine fuel tanks, filters, and ex-
posed lines for leaks and corrosion.
DANGER
Check for leaks in tubing, connections and hoses. Cor-
rect the cause of the leaks and ventilate the area to
insure that no fumes remain, prior to energizing any elec-
trical equipment and/or starting the engines.
CAUTION
Use of improper gasolines can seriously damage your
engine. Damage resulting from use of improper gasoline
is considered misuse of engine and will void the
warranty.Follow engine manufacturer’s recommendations
regarding the types of fuel and oil to use.

Oil and fuel spills can be dangerous and can subject
offenders to severe penalties
DANGER
Avoid all forms of ignition when the odor of fuel is no-
ticed. Well ventilate any area of the boat where the fuel
odor is present before starting engine(s) or operating
electrical equipment and smoking.
NOTICE
Keep records of your boats fuel capacity and consump-
tion. Drastic changes in fuel consumption and decreases
in mileage may indicate a problem.
The 305 Conquest is equipped with a gaso-
line fuel system. Please take time to read
and understand all the fuel related informa-
tion and warnings in the engine owner’s
packet. The various diagrams show the lo-
cation of the fuel fill, routing of fuel supply hoses and the
location of the fuel tank vents.
Fuel Tanks
The 305 Conquest comes standard with 3 aluminum
fuel tanks. The port and starboard saddle tanks are
110 Gal. (416.3L)each, the auxilliary tank is 75
Gal.(284L). The saddle tanks are located port and
starboard amidship aft of the mid-cabin, and the
auxilliary tank is located under the mid cabin floor.
The optional 15 Gal.(56.8L) Diesel fuel tank is lo-
cated on the aft port side of the machinery compart-
ment.
Fuel Fill
The 305 Conquest has fuel fills for each tank. The port
saddle and center tank fills are located on the port side
amidship on the gunwales and the starboard tank is lo-
cated on the starboard gunwale amidship each is marked
“GAS”, and is opened by use of a special key that is
included with the owner’s packet. Follow the engine
manufacturer’s recommendation for the types of fuel to
use.
Diesel Fuel Fill (optional)
The optional generator is made to run on diesel fuel
ONLY. The optional diesel fuel fill is located on the aft
port side area foward of the motorwell. There is a fuel
gauge located on the right side of the AC/DC MDP for
monitoring the generator fuel tank. There is a fuel filter/
water separator included with the generator option. In-
structions regarding the operation and maintenance of
the generator and fuel filter/water separator are included
in the owner’s packet. Follow all instructions/schedules
carefully.
Avoid storing diesel fuel for more than one
month. Take special precautions to keep all dirt,
water, and other contaminants out of the fuel to
prevent the growth of microbes. Microbes form
slime that clogs the fuel filter and lines.

Use ONLY diesel fuel for generator operation. Use of
fuels other than diesel will damage the generator.

Remove portable tanks from boat and fill from shore.
When fueling is complete, secure tanks to deck with
straps provided.

Static electricity can ignite gasoline vapors causing
serious injury/death and/or destruction of property.
