COLD/HOT WATER:
The freshwater tank of your boat is capable of supply-
ing cold water to the head compartment, galley and bait
prep station. A 6 Gal.(23L) marine grade water heater
will supply heated water to the galley sink and to the
head compartment sink.
HEAD SHOWER OPERATION:
Make sure the “FRESHWATER” switch on the DC side
of the MDP is “ON”. Turn the switch marked “WATER
HEATER” to the “ON” position. It is located on the AC
side of the MDP. If the heater has not been used for
some time it will take about 20 minutes before the hot
water will be ready for use. All water flowing to the the
faucets can be controlled by knobs, left(hot) and
right(cold).
The head compartment faucet can be used convention-
ally or it can be pulled out of its base and used for show-
ering, (approx. 6Ft. 1.82M). There is a hook on the
forward wall of the compartment that can be used to
hang the shower head from. The floor is completely
sealed and there is a drain that will evacuate the water.
Follow all maintenance and winterizing instructions listed
in this section.
