Hull Identifcation Number
The “Hull Identification Number” is located on the star-
board side of the transom.
This is the most important identifying factor and must be
included in all correspondence related to your vessel.
Failure to do so will only create delays. Also of vital
importance are the engine serial numbers and part num-
bers when writing about or ordering parts for your en-
gine.
Our Hull
Boston Whaler® hulls are constructed with our patented
Unibond™ construction. This involves shooting high
density foam into a closed mold system. The foam ex-
pands to fill voids in the hull, and when the finished prod-
uct is pulled from the mold, the deck and the hull are
chemically bonded to form a solid, inseparable unit.
