Your 305 Conquest has the option of
having a 7,000 BTU air conditioning/
reverse cycle heating unit installed. The
air conditioning system provides cool-
ing and heating of the mid cabin and for-
ward cabin by use of a self contained unit. The self con-
tained unit draws the air in through a return air vent lo-
cated on the forward section of the cabin beneath the
dinette seat; cooling is created by exchanging heat in the
cabin to a refrigerant carried in a closed loop piping sys-
tem to the condenser where the heat is transferred to
sea water. The cooling/heating system is controlled by a
keypad/dispay thermostat located on the aft bulkhead
of the starboard cabin interior. The keypad allows you
a variety of ways of controlling the cooling/heating cycles
of the air conditioning system. Please read and follow all
instructions supplied in the owners packet regarding safe
operation of this system.
