SHORE POWER:
Before connecting the power cord to the shore power
connection, make sure the Shore Power Main/Genera-
tor switch is in the “OFF” position. There is a shore
power breaker located next to the shore power con-
nection and is rated to 35 amps. If the circuit trips look
to the AC MDP for the breaker to reset before looking
at this one. If there is a circuit breaker that continually
trips, you will need to have the AC/DC electrical system
inspected by a qualified marine electrician.
ISOLATION TRANSFORMER:
Your 305 Conquest is fitted with an Isolation Trans-
former. The isolation transformer is a maintenance free
unit that isolates your boat from the shore power sys-
tem. The isolation transformer minimizes the electrolytic
corrosion caused by stray currents. It will also protect
the boat from missing ground or reverse polarity condi-
tions. The isolation transformer is located on the for-
ward port section of the machinery access compartment.
OPERATION
Once the boat has been securely moored you can con-
nect the shore power cord to the shore power outlet.
The shore power main must be switched “ON” to oper-
ate the individual circuits on the AC panels.
