System Setup Options

Surveillance
Surveillance
allows six (6) independently configurable areas of detection to be set.
Each area can be configured to send an E-mail, make a phone call, play a sound
file, and trigger a control output.

Control Out
Allows the activity to trigger a Control Output.

Area No.
Displays the area of detection currently being configured.

Send E-mail
E-mail Setup
must be configured for E-mail to function. Refer to
E-mail Setup
(in
this manual).

Audio Dial Out
If a modem is connected to the system, the system can dial out to a remote PC
with the DESA remote running.

Never Update Background
Background of the detection area does not refresh.

Name
Assign a name to the detection area.

Background Refresh Time
Seconds of time to refresh the image being captured.

Detection Size
The number of pixels used for detection of an object.

Detection Sensitivity
Sensitivity of the pixel area of the
Detection Size

Sound Wave File
Select a .WAV file to be played if an object is detected.

Duration of Sound Wave
Duration that the sound should play.

Set Active Time
Click to allow a specific time to be set for the area to be active. This is set on an
hourly basis.

Reset & Add All
Click to delete all areas and selects the entire picture area.

Reset
Click to remove all items in the picture area.

Hide
(or Show)
Objects Click to display/Hide the pixel detection area.
