8.3 Wartungsarbeiten Maintenance operations

In Abhängigkeit der äußeren Einflüsse
ist je nach Bedarf der Oberflächen-
korrosionsschutzanstrich auszubessern
bzw. zu erneuern.
Die maximal zulässige Farbschichtdicke
der Lackierung / Beschichtung darf in
der Explosionsgruppe:
IIA und IIB : 1,50 mm
IIC : 0,18 mm
nicht überschreiten!
Hierbei ist zu beachten, dass beim La-
ckieren der Aggregate Wellendichtringe,
Entlüftungsventile und Laufflächen der
Wellen abgedeckt bzw. abgeklebt sind.
Nach Beendigung der Lackierarbeiten
sind die Klebestreifen zu entfernen.
The surface paint and corrosion proofing
of the unit may require touching up or
repainting completely depending on the
conditions in which the unit is operating.
The maximum permissible paint thick-
ness of the paint / coating may be in the
explosion group:
IIA and IIB: 1,50 mm
IIC: 0,18 mm
do not exceed!
When repainting the unit, take care not
to paint over the shaft seal ring, the vent
valve or the shaft bearing surfaces. Paint
might stick these parts in position. Cover
these parts with masking tape.
When you have finished painting, re-
move the masking tape.

Getriebemotor spannungslos schal-
ten, gegen unbeabsichtigtes Ein-
schalten sichern! Darauf achten,
dass das Getriebe abgekühlt ist -
Verbrennungsgefahr!

Verschluss-Schraube in Laterne ent-
fernen. Kapitel 8.7 beachten!

Laterne durch Schaubohrung auf
Ölfreiheit kontrollieren.

Verschluss-Schraube wieder eindre-
hen. Kapitel 8.7 beachten!

Bei Ölaustritt Antrieb stillsetzten und
Dichtring erneuern.
Hinweis: Bei einwandfreier
Funktion des Dichtringes
zwischen Getriebe und
Normlaterne / Rührwerkla-
terne darf kein Öl in der La-
terne vorhanden sein!

Switch off and lock out the Geared
Motor. Take precautions to prevent
accidental restarting. Burns hazard.
Allow the Gear Box to cool down be-
fore starting this operation.

Remove the screw plug from the in-
termediate casing. See Section 8.7
for instructions.

Check through the inspection hole
that there is no oil in the intermedi-
ate casing.

Refit and tighten the screw plug.
See Section 8.7 for instructions.

If oil leaks from the drive, stop the
drive and renew the seal ring.
Note: If the seal ring be-
tween the Gear Box and the
intermediate casing/bell
housing adaptor is fully effi-
cient, there should be no oil
in the intermediate casing.
