4. Carefully refit new splash guard (supplied as part of
the kit), which covers the burner venturi’s, taking
care not to damage thermocouples and pilot tube.
Secure in place with 2 allan headed screws (4mm)
(See Fig 14).
5. Refit burner bowls and burner caps, these are a
loose fit to burner venturi, (See Fig 15), take care
not to damage thermocouples and pilot tube fitted
through splash guards.
6. Fit pilot burner shields over pilot burner tubes and
secure in place with 2 allan headed screws. (See Fig
16).
7. Refit pot stand supports to top of the cook top.
NOTE:
Orientation of front pot stand supports is different
to the rear profile when re-fitting (see Fig 17).
4. Refit pot stands to pot stand supports, taking note
that pot stands are manufactured with a lip on one
edge, lip must always be fitted to outer edge (front
and back) of cook top.
5. Refit supplied gas control knobs to gas control valves
of cook top module just fitted.
6. Re-connect gas supply at the mains.
7. Turn gas control knobs to 'PILOT' position and ignite
pilot burners.
8. Turn gas control knobs to 'ON' position to ignite main
burners.
9. Check all gas connections for leakage using soapy
water or other gas detecting equipment.
Burner Low Fire Adjustment
1. With main burners 'ON', adjust burner low fire
adjustment by removing gas control knobs from gas
control valves.
2. Check flame size in simmer ‘LOW’ position.
3. Adjust 'Low Fire' screw to obtain desired flame size.
(Refer to Fig 18).
4. Check 'Low Fire' of all burners and adjust as
required.
NOTE:
‘Low Fire' screws on gas control valves should be
sealed with coloured paint on completion of 'Low
Fire' adjustment.
5. On completion of 'Low Fire' adjustment, refit front
control panel and secure in position with screws
provided.
6. Fit all gas control knobs to gas control valves.
7. On completion of conversion, carry out a complete
commissioning of appliance as shown in 'Installation'
section of 'Installation and Operation Manual' for this
appliance.
