Blue Seal Evolution Series Gas Convection Ranges

Amendment 13
Pilot Tube Removal
1.
Remove control panel (refer 6.1.1).
2. Remove
burner
mounting rail (refer 6.3.1).
3.
Remove Pilot Injector Assembly as shown earlier in this
section.
4.
Unscrew and remove 2 screws securing pilot burner
shield. Remove shield.
5.
Refit 2 pilot burner shield securing screws to prevent
damaging thermocouple when removing.
6.
Unscrew and remove thermocouple securing nut and
withdraw the thermocouple from Burner Mounting Rail.
7.
Remove 2 pilot burner shield screws and withdraw pilot
tube assembly.
8.
Clean or replace as necessary, and re-assemble in
reverse order.
NOTE: When re-fitting pilot tube and thermocouple to
Burner Mounting Rail, loosely fit 2 pilot burner
shield securing screws to prevent damage to the
thermocouple.

6.3.7 Gas Control Magnet (Cooktop Burners
Only)
1.
Remove control panel (refer 6.1.1).
2. Remove
burner
mounting rail (refer 6.3.1).
3.
Undo thermocouple to gas control valve connection at
rear of gas control valve.
4.
Remove nut at rear of gas control valve.
5.
Remove the magnet from gas control valve.
6.
Replace and re-assemble in reverse order.
