System LCD and Modes
The system has three modes, Status mode, Configuration mode, and Edit mode.
Status Mode
The default mode. Before the system is configured, the LCD
in Status mode displays
IP address not configured
. After
initial configuration, the LCD in Status mode displays CPU
utilization and freshness statistics.
In Status mode, there is no cursor in the LCD.
Configuration
Mode
From Status mode, push the
Enter
button to go to
Configuration mode. In Configuration mode, you can
determine which option to use for initial configuration—
•
Manual
•
Web wizard
•
Register w. Director
Use the
Up
and
Down
arrow buttons to cycle the LCD
through the networking parameters.
In Configuration mode, the cursor is an underscore in the
LCD.
