These privileged commands display information associated with SLIP ports
from the access server database. The characteristics that you assign with the
SET/DEFINE/CHANGE PORT SLIP command are included.
ALL
Specifies that information for all ports is displayed.
port-list
Specifies one or more ports for which information is displayed (default: the
port you are using).
CHARACTERISTICS
Display current values for port SLIP characteristics. This is the default.
COUNTERS
Displays current counter values for the specified port(s).
Restrictions
• When using the MONITOR command, your port type characteristic
should be set to ANSI; otherwise, the displayed information will scroll off
the screen.
• Secure users can specify only their own port.
Example
Local> SHOW PORTS ALL SLIP
This command displays all characteristics of SLIP-specific ports in the
operational database.
