Number of Zones on BPI
The following table shows the BPI events ( BPI EVENTS columns) that will
signal the Interface Zone Alarms ( ALARM column) and Tamper events ( TAMPER
column) when the BPI Interfacing terminal board is connected to the bus of
Omnia, Omnia840 or Academy40.
The numbers in the IN. EXP. column show the Input Expanders that will be
simulated by the Interface, in accordance with the programmed Number of
Zones on BPI ( NUM. column). The numbers in brackets in the BPI Events
column show the Control panel events that will signal Interface Zone Alarms
and Tamper events, in accordance with the disabled/enabled status
of the
Auxiliary Signals on BPI option.

Program the number of zones (8, 16, 31*) the Interface must simulate on the BPI
bus, as follows.
