PROGRAMMING THE INTERFACE
This section describes how to program the Interface from the keypad.
Connecting the keypad
1 Prepare the keypad (refer to “Preparing the Keypad” in the “INSTALLING
VECTORBRIDGE” section).
2 Disconnect terminals
C

R
on the terminal board
13
, then select the BPI
Level of the Interface. This Level must match the BPI Level of the Keypad (refer
to “Interface BPI Level” in the “INSTALLING VECTORBRIDGE” section). The BPI
Level of
OmniaTAST-R
is 5 V. Refer to the
MIA-S
instructions for its BPI Level.
+
Once the Interface has been programmed, disconnect the Keypad, and if the
BPI interfacing is used,
match the Interface BPI Level to that of the BPI bus, then
reconnect terminals

Zone Supervision
Zone Supervision
allows the Receiver to detect Missing Wireless Sensors. If a
Wireless sensor fails to send a signal to the Receiver before the programmed
Supervisory Window
elapses, it will be considered Missing (refer to “Supervisory
Window” in this section). The Interface will signal Missing Wireless Sensors by:
Ø
activating the
MIS
Output;
Ø
generating the
Missing Wireless Sensors
event (
Alarm zone 18
). This
event will be generated only when the
Auxiliary Signals on BPI
option is
enabled (refer to “Auxiliary Signals on BPI” in this section, and in the “PRO-
GRAMMING THE CONTROL PANEL” section).
+
The Missing Wireless Sensor will not be indicated in this phase. However, it will
be recorded in the Interface memory (refer to “View Memory” in the USER’S
INSTRUCTIONS Insert).
