2.15.2 Front power take-off shaft control

FPTO, if mounted against order, is controlled with switch 11 (figure 2.15.1) and button 9.
The indication of FPTO engagement is carried out by annunciator 10.
In the initial state the FPTO drive is disengaged by default, annunciator 10 is off.
To engage the FPTO after the engine start, it is required to set switch 11 into the position
“On” and press button 9. After that annunciator 10 lights up indicating that the FPTO is en-
gaged.
To disengage the FPTO, it is required to set switch 11 into the position “Off”, in this case
annunciator 10 goes out.
To engage the FPTO repeatedly, first it is required to set switch 11 into the position “On”,
then press button 9.

ATTENTION: AS THE ENGINE IS STOPPED, THE FRONT POWER TAKEOFF SHAFT
IS AUTOMATICALLY OFF. TO ENGAGE THE FPTO AFTER THE ENGINE START, FOL-
LOW THE PROCEDURES ON THE FPTO ENGAGEMENT.

Note – Additional information on the FPTO operation rules is given in subsection 3.2.7
“PTO use”.

2.15.3 FDA drive control

The FDA drive is controlled with switch 3 (figure 2.15.1). The indication of the FDA drive
operation is performed by annunciator 2.
The switch 3 has three fixed positions:
“FDA off” – middle position;
“FDA automatic control” – upper position;
“FDA positive activation” – lower position.
The mode “FDA off” is used when moving on roads with hard surface when the traveling
speed is above 13 km/h in order to avoid increased wear of front wheel tires.

In the position “FDA automatic control” the FDA drive is automatically engaged

when the rear wheel skidding limit is exceeded. The FDA drive is disengaged automatical-
ly as the rear wheel skidding drops below the limit.
Annunciator 2 is on, when the FDA drive is engaged, and it goes out when the FDA drive
is disengaged.
The mode “FDA automatic control” shall be used for performing various types of field work.

 The mode “FDA automatic control” is disengaged by setting switch 3 into the posi-

tion “FDA off”. In this case annunciator 2 goes out.

If FDAD positive activation is required irrespective of rear wheel skidding, set switch 3 into
the position “FDA positive activation”. In this case the FDA drive is permanently engaged
and annunciator 2 is on. To disengage the positive activation mode, set switch 3 into the
position “FDA off”, and annunciator 2 goes out.

ATTENTION: ONLY POSITIVE ACTIVATION OF FDA SHALL BE USED WHEN OPER-
ATING ON REVERSE!

ATTENTION: ONLY POSITIVE ACTIVATION OF FDA SHALL BE USED WHEN OPER-
ATING THE TRACTOR UNDER BAD TIRE GRIPPING CONDITONS WHILE REAR
WHEELS SKIDDING, INCLUDING TRACTOR TURNING, TO ENSURE SMOOTH FDA
ACTIVATION,  FOR WHICH DO THE FOLLOWING:
-  STOP THE TRACTOR DEPRESSING THE CLUTCH PEDAL;
-  ENGAGE THE FDA IN THE MODE “FDA POSITIVE ACTIVATION”;
-  RELEASE THE CLUTCH PEDAL SMOOTHLY.
