79 Reconnect Enable Time Delay
The reconnect relay is a permissive programmable
output that may be set to close from 1 to 8160
cycles after all tripping functions are within limits.
The 79 function is unique in that it is not considered
a tripping function, and therefore if Output #8 is
selected, it does not trigger target storage by default.
The 79 function is enabled, and its output selected
through the Relay Setpoints Screen, just as other
functions. In addition to the time delay setting, the
reconnect function monitors all functions that are
programmed to trip. The reconnect relay will initiate
timing when all outputs defined as trip outputs are
not in a trip condition.
For example: If function 27#1 is programmed to
output 5 (for alarm), 27#2 to output 1 (for trip), 81#1
to output 6 (for alarm), 81#2 to output 2 (for trip),
59G to output 2 (for trip), and 79 to output 8 (for
reconnect), then OUT1 and OUT2 should be
selected as output initiate. Schematic representation
