* Remove the connector CompIF In and replace it by this one.

Use the labels to indentificate the new outputs. Mark the CompIF In with the label IFs1 Out and
the CompIF Out with the label IFv Out.
•
Tighten all cables with the supplied cable ties.
3.3 Updating Software Version
This updating is only necessary if the index of the software installed is of a lower version than the new
delivered. The index of the software is indicated on the label one finds on the EPROM or GAL.
On the label one can find “/ XX”. This number indicated the software version.
Observe Precautions for Handling Electrostatic Sensitive Devices.
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage the electronic components.
Therefore it is required to work in a static-safe work station.
For the location of the IC’s, use the internal layout diagram
Replace EPROM U65 with the one include in the kitbox. Only needed when the index of the EPROM
in the kitbox is higher than the one that is installed.
Replace GAL U69 with the one included in the kitbox. Only needed when a GAL is included in the
kitbox and the index of the GAL in the kitbox is higher than the one that is installed.
3.3 Closing The P
ULSAR
•
Put the bottom cover back onto the chassis.
•
Tighten the nine screws (Torx 10) while pressing the bottom cover down.
•
Turn the P
ULSAR
upright.
•
Put the top cover onto the chassis.
•
Tighten the nine screws (Torx 10) while pressing the top cover down.
•
Replug the power cord.
