3.2 Installing The Reference Carrier Board
If needed, solder the three pins of the two supporting plates in the correct place. (see layout diagram)

Cable connections to be made.

Remove from J21 on the main-
board.
Connect this end to J5 on the
optional board.
Power Supply Cable 2 (13-wire)
J1 on the optional board

N5 on the optional board
J25 on the mainboard
Control Cable
N1, N2 & N3 on the optional
board
BR4 on the mainboard (remove
BR4 first)
•
Place the optional board over the tabs and twist them so the board will be fixed.
•
Use the delivered cable ties to tight the cables.
3.3 Closing The P
ULSAR
•
Put the bottom cover back onto the chassis.
•
Tighten the nine screws (Torx 10) while pressing the bottom cover down.
•
Turn the P
ULSAR
upright.
•
Put the top cover onto the chassis.
•
Tighten the nine screws (Torx 10) while pressing the top cover down.
•
Replug the power cord.
