replacing the squid ring pC board
This machine uses six squid ring pC boards.
refer to the procedure below, and replace the squid ring pC board that corresponds to the malfunction location.

To avoid electric shock, accidents or injuries to yourself or other people, or damage to the electronic
circuits, be sure to turn off the power switch before starting work.

pC boards are sensitive to static electricity. If a person handles a pC board while
charged with static electricity, the parts on the pC board may be damaged. before
handling a pC board, discharge the static electricity from your body; for example, by
touching the surface of grounded metal.

remove the monitor mask. (See “8B-3-2 (12) removing and Installing the Monitor Mask” on
page 121.)

Disconnect the connector.

remove the three phillips pan head screws (with split washer) (M3 x 6), and remove the squid
ring pC board.
