Channel Function
•
RESET CAPTION allows the user to change the caption back to the factory default
caption.
3. Once all settings have been selected, press
button at the bottom of the screen to save
and return to the Task Settings screen.
4. Repeat the above if another channel is required.
Note:
For the settings to be in effect, the user must press the
button in the TASK
SETTINGS menu.
3.4 Channel Function
Individual channels have Direction options for each function as either Measure or
Source/Simulate.
Note:
Pressure tasks are Measure only functions
After setting the required measure and source functions on the display, additional features can
be set for each displayed function
These features are selected by entering the function's expanded view and selecting
in the
expanded view of the selected channel in Calibrator mode.
3.4.1 Automation
Source Functions have additional settings available which include the following options:
•
Nudge - allows the source value to be incremented by a defined step size value.
•
Span Check - allows two-point span check. The LOW (minimum) and HIGH (maximum) span
values can be set as well as the DWELL time.
•
Percent Step - allows the source value to be incremented in steps that correspond to a set
percentage of the span. There is also the option to auto-repeat the automation process.
•
Defined Step - allows the source value to be incremented at a defined step size within the
span limits. There is also the option to auto-repeat the automation process.
•
Ramp - allows the source value to be automatically incremented from a defined START
value to a defined END value in steps of defined value in both increasing and decreasing
direction. The TRAVEL time can be set to define the period of time it takes the value to go
from START to END and vice versa while the DWELL time defines the period for the source
value to remain at the END value.
