2 SECURITY
2.1 Follow the instructions contained in this manual
Be sure that you received all the documents listed in the delivery certificate.

Please, address to the Official Dealer if any omissions or forgetfulness are found.

Use your Bicycle only after you have received and read carefully all the documents.

While you are out, always take this manual with you and be sure it is protected from rain. If any breakdown or
problem occurs, you will find important information in it.

Whether you decide to sell or give away your Pedal-Assisted Bicycle, include this manual with it.
2.2 Consult the Official Dealer
NOTE:
Your Official Dealer plays an important role even after the expertise and final assembling. He or she will be your
interlocutor for maintenance, inspections, changes and any kind of upgrading.
If you have any questions about your Pedal-Assisted Bicycle, please contact your Official Dealer.
2.3 Meaning of symbols used on the Bicycle
This symbol means that the Bicycle is subject to EU directive 2002/96/CE and you
are required to dispose of any component by handing them over to a dedicated
reception centre and separately form household waste.
NOTE:
For all the details about disposal, please refer to section 16 “Disposal of the
Bicycle”.
CE mark on the product plate.
This symbol means that the Pedal-Assisted Bicycle meets all the essential
requirements according to applicable EU laws.
2.4 Usage of the bicycle
Using the Pedal-Assisted Bicycle for any purpose other than the one intended for could cause
dangerous driving situations, fall or accidents. Short circuit in the battery compartment and
subsequent fire may also occur. Due to a damaged battery compartment you could also suffer a
potentially fatal electric shock.
Do always use the Bicycle as described in the manual and in the additional documentation, where
appropriate.
2.4.1 Operations that can be autonomously performed by the user
Any mistake made during incorrect maintenance operations on the Bicycle could damage it and
jeopardise its security and performance. This can lead to dangerous driving situation, falling or
accidents.

The only operations that can be made on the Bicycle are those described in this manual as autonomously executable
by the user and only if proper tools are available.
●
No alteration to individual components of the Pedal-Assisted Bicycle is allowed.
