2.4.2 Arrangements in case of not type-approved accessories or components
Not type-approved accessories or components could cause damages to the Bicycle and compromise its security and
functioning. This can cause dangerous driving situations, falling and accidents.

Never try to add equipment or modify your Bicycle by yourself.
●
Always choose accessories and equipment with a retailer who received a specific training. With regard to accessories
and the extra weight they imply, always take into account the maximum weight allowed for the Bicycle.
The following accessories can be requested:

The necessary equipment to allow the circulation on urban streets and roads according to the laws in force in your
Country, where not available on the standard model.

Luggage carrier.
−
Baby seat in presence of type-approved luggage carrier. Ask the retailer for this type of seat.
−
Luggage bags in presence of specific type-approved luggage carrier.
−
Front basket.
Ask your Official Dealer, he/she will gladly provide advices.

You can ask to modify the seat.
●
Always select accessories and components with your Official Dealer who received a specific training.
●
Be sure you received all the documents related to the accessories or components from your Official.
●
Be sure the Official Dealer wrote down which documents he provided you on the delivery certificate.
●
Follow all the security warnings and the specific instructions contained in the accessories and components
documentation.
2.4.3 Riding your Pedal-Assisted Bicycle

The driver must be at least 15 years old.
●
The driver must be able to ride a bicycle, meaning he/she must possess the basic knowledge
about riding a bicycle and possess the necessary balance to guide and control the Pedal-Assisted
Bicycle.
●
The driver must be able to hop in and out the seat safely. This applies in particular to ergonomic
seats if the driver’s feet cannot touch the ground when on the Bicycle.
●
Driver’s body type must be suitable to the Bicycle and maximum weight allowed must not be
exceeded (see the table below).
●
If the driver wants to circulate on public streets and roads he/she must be physically and mentally
able to broach the traffic.
●
Resistance. The Pedal-Assisted Bicycle allows you to reach high speed for a long period. The
driver must possess the adequate strength to control the Bicycle for at least two hours.
●
The Pedal-Assisted Bicycle does not compensate for any infirmity or a poor physical condition.
