This Bicycle is a so-called Pedal-Assisted Bicycle, a bicycle provided with an electric engine to help your pedalling. The
pedal-assisted system is automatically activated when you start pedalling and it is automatically inactivated when you
stop.
The assisted pedalling runs up to a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The total support provided is measured by a controller on
the handlebar.
To consult the technical data, please refer to the model-specific documentation you were provided with when you
purchased the Pedal-Assisted Bicycle.

The Bicycle has two independent brakes.
●
The lever on the left operates the front wheel break.
●
The lever on the right operates the back wheel break.
●
Ride safely until the brake system has been run-in.
●
Run-in your break system: perform 30 short break applications starting from an average speed (around 25 km/h)
until full stop.
●
Avoid long rides until the break system has been run-in.
●
Once the breaking system has been run-in, a high breaking force will be available. If the levers are pulled too
firmly, the wheels may be blocked.
●
If the front wheel is blocked, the Bicycle may overturn.

The Bicycle is provided with a chain gearbox, a crown-seal and a spool with 7-8 sprockets (depending on the model). The
gearbox type offers the best gear ratio for every speed and helps to overcome slopes easily.
4.3 Chassis and fork
The Bicycle has a rigid, not shock-absorbing main chassis with an embedded rigid or shock-absorbing fork.
Male chassis:
Female chassis:
4.4 Wheel groups
NOTE:
The wheel group/groups are also referred to as “front wheel” and “back wheel”.
The back wheel is already embedded in the chassis.
The front wheel has to be installed in the chassis; this operation is allowed by a fast-release attachment (see section 12.1).
