4.5 Battery, engine, electric controller
Battery, engine and electric controller do not need maintenance: the arbitrary manipulation of those components nullifies
the guarantee.
4.6 Control display
The description of the control display is presented in the attached original instruction manual. Messages (including
errors/anomalies) will be displayed on it and control settings for the electric part of the Bicycle can be entered from this
display.
5 FIRST USE CHECKS
Ensure that the Bicycle works correctly as soon as the Bicycle is delivered.
Make sure that the retailer marked the guarantee certificate with his/her stamp. A correct pre-delivery is the first
guarantee of personal security, reliability and allows a proper usage of the Bicycle.
If the Bicycle is purchased online follow the instructions contained in the next paragraph (Section 5.1).
5.1 First use
ATTENTION
RISK OF SERIOUS FALLING AND ACCIDENTS
The Bicycle is delivered to your Official Dealer preassembled or directly to your house as described if
you purchased it online.
Some components that are essential to the security are not completely installed; your retailer or you
have to complete the installation to make the Bicycle safe.

If you purchase the Bicycle from an Official Dealer, he/she will fill the “pre-delivery form” contained in the
delivery certificate of the Bicycle.

If you purchase the Bicycle online: read the instruction and maintenance manual carefully, paying particular
attention to the section about assembling, and follow every part of the pre-delivery form in order to obtain a
perfect assembling of your Bicycle. Cut the Guarantee Activation and the Pre-delivery Form from the Delivery
Certificate and mail it to:

Note. Failure to send the aforementioned voucher with the pre-delivery form nullifies the guarantee.

Use the Bicycle only in a comfortable position.

Ask your Official Dealer to adjust the seat to the height and position that suits you the most.

Ask your Official Dealer to explain you the technical devices of the Bicycle.

Charge the battery completely. See the original instruction manual attached.

Adjust the seat height and position on your own. Refer to section 6. “Adjust seat position” and section 6.2
“Adjust seat height”.

An unsecured Bicycle can lead to dangerous driving situations, falling and accidents.

Before riding, check that your Bicycle is safe.
●
Take a closer look to the Bicycle you just bought, in order to easily identify anomalies in the future.

If you find one or more defects during your inspections, contact your Official Dealer.
You can fix minor defects yourself if the necessary operations are described below.

Contact your Official Dealer if the repair operations are not described here, because this means they cannot be
carried out by you, or in case those operations do not produce the expected results.
