Breakdown
Possible cause(s)
Repair
The chain goes off before or during
the ratio changing
●
Wrongly triggered
gear/transmission
●
Damaged or wrongly set
gear/transmission.
Stop.
●
Disable your Bicycle. To do so,
turn the electric engine off
(see the instruction manual).
●
Lift the chain manually and
place it on the next gear.
●
Lift the back wheel.
●
If there is no resistance, turn
the crank/pedal arm in the
transmission direction.
NOTA BENE
:
If the crank/pedal arm does not
turn easily, do not force it in any
way.
Contact your garage immediately
The chain goes off frequently.
●
Wrongly triggered
gear/transmission.
●
Damaged or wrongly set
gear/transmission.
Trigger
the
gear/transmission
correctly (see section 14.1).
Contact
a
specialised
garage
immediately if this happens even
when the gear/transmission is
triggered correctly.
14.2 Brakes
ATTENTION
RISK OF FALLING AND ACCIDENTS
The brakes of your EPAC are among the most important components of your safety. A brake failure
causes always dangerous driving situations, falling and accidents. A brake failure may be life
threatening.

If you experience any anomaly or if the brake potency decreases, contact your Official Dealer immediately.
●
Use your EPAC again only after an appropriate repairing made by your retailer.

The brakes are not mounted
correctly

Damaged brake
Contact a garage immediately.
The breaking loses strength.
Worn out discs
Have your discs replaced
immediately by a specialised
garage.
In hydraulic brakes: braking system
not watertight.
Contact a garage immediately.
The brake slides.
Damaged brake disc.
Front wheel: mount the front wheel
correctly.
Wheel group is bent.
Back wheel: contact your garage.
