X-250 Brake & Tube Instructions 

1.  Loosen the Pinch Nut on your brake hub to slide your brake cable out.  

 

2.  Remove your axle nuts and chain tensioners and axle from the complete 

rear wheel.  

 

3.  Slide your belt off your hub. 

4.  You should be able to remove your complete rear wheel. 
5.  Remove your footplate from the frame. This needs to be done in order for 

you to remove your brake cable. 

6.  Cut the black casing off that hides all of your wires going up your 

handlebar post.  

7.  Find you brake cable and pull out, go ahead and put your new brake on. 
8.  You can replace your black casing with cable ties to keep your wires 

together all your handlebar post.  

9. 

Completely remove all air from the tube.

 

10. Remove all 4 of the hex bolts to get the hub apart. This will allow you to 

separate your hub to remove the tube and tire.  

11. Go ahead and put your tube in the tire, and put your hubs back together. 

Remember to put the valve stem through the hole on the belt 
drive side.

 

12. Put your hubs back together again with the 4 hex bolts and pump up your 

tire.  

13. Put your complete rear wheel back onto the frame and slide your belt 

back onto the hub. 

Make sure on the other side you have your black 

brake hub on to.

 

14. Put your axle back through the complete wheel and put your tensioners 

on, lock washer, and the axle nut.  

15. Put brake cable back through the pinch nut adjust and tighten the nut.
