2.5.3: Selecting an installation method
To select an installation method you must determine the following:
• Mounting pipe material (metal or PVC)
• Grounding ring material (SUS or non-SUS)
• Need for a protective plate
• Use of rubber gaskets
CAUTION
The necessary materials and the installation method vary according to the material
of the ring and that of the pipe on which the detector is to be installed. Select the
appropriate method of installation from the following table after confirming the
specifications of the detector to be installed and the conditions of installation.
Improper installation can result in leakage or damage to the pipe flanges.
