System Default
– Specifies the action for MAC addresses listed in the local MAC
Authentication Table.
•
Deny:
Blocks access for all MAC addresses listed in the MAC Authentication
Table. Clients with MAC addresses not listed in the table are permitted access.
•
Allow:
Permits access for all MAC addresses listed in the MAC Authentication
Table. Clients with MAC addresses not listed in the table are denied access.
Local MAC Filter Settings
– Adds new MAC addresses to the MAC Authentication
Table, or removes addresses currently listed in the table.
•
MAC Address:
Physical address of a client. Enter six pairs of hexadecimal digits
separated by colons; for example, 00:90:D1:12:AB:89.
•
Permission:
Select Add to list a new specified MAC address in the MAC
Authentication Table. Select Delete to remove the specified MAC address from the
table.
•
Update:
Performs the Add or Delete action on the specified MAC address.
MAC Authentication Table
– Displays current entries in the MAC filter database.
