5.4 Bookmark 

 Bookmark allows a user to save certain time during both live monitoring and playback mode. And able to go back to the 

bookmarked time during playback. 

 Press 

  in both Live and Playback mode and the following popup window will display. 

 

 

 In Live, it is only possible to add the current time to the list. Please enter Name for each of the Bookmark time. A user can 

check the list in playback.   

 In Playback, it is possible to add, delete and play from the Bookmark List. Press 

  to add the current (in playing) 

time to the list. Press 

 

to delete added bookmark from the Bookmark List. To do playback double Click on the 

bookmarked time from the list. 

 

 

5.5 Archive 

 The Archive function allows a user to copy the recorded video from DVR to a storage device (USB memory stick, DVD-RW). 

 Please execute Archive at both Live and Playback. 

 Follow the procedure.

Press ARCHIVE  

key during live monitoring or 

 

during Playback. Then, the following screen will 

display. 

 

② 

Check 

 a check box next to a camera with the video that want to store. A user can archive multi-channel at the same 

time. (only EXE format, one channel only for AVI format)

  on the right-hand side of FROM box to set the storage start time. 

④

 ) the 

 

  on the right-hand side of TO box to set the storage end time.

 ) Format box to select EXE or AVI.

 ) Device box to select a storage device out of USB and CD/DVD-RW. 

⑦ 

Click (

 ) the keyboard display on the right-hand side of File Name box to input a file name. A user does not need to input 

extension (exe, avi). Please note that the file is not going to be stored unless user inputs a name. 

⑧ 

To set a Password to the file that users want to save, mark the check box of “use Password”. Then, Click the keyboard 

button and set a password. 

⑨ 

Click (

 ) OK button. Then, Progress bar will display and the storage process proceeds. The progress bar may not show 

actual progress time. Depending on the file size, it may restart even after it shows 100%. It is important not to detach 

storage device until DVR displays “Archive Success” or “Failure” message. 

⑩ 

If the archiving is done properly, Archive Success message will pop up. Please choose ‘OK’ to confirm. If the storage 

fails, Archive Fail message will pop up. In this case, a user may try again.
