When connecting to the 10 Gb port, it is important to follow two rules:
– Ensure that the cable has the required modal bandwidth for the distance of the run.
– Make sure that all multimode cables between an switch port and the other end of the cable
run are of the same diameter (for example, 50/125 um or 62.5/125 um).
