You can identify which message server you have accessed during a Telnet session because the message
server name, up to six characters, displays before the @ prompt or . (dot) prompt.

When you are connected via Telnet and are in
UPDATE
mode, you can control the screen scroll by
using
CNTL
−
S
to stop scrolling and
CNTL
−
Q
to start again. These controls have no effect when
used on output generated by a command at the @ prompt.
To exit a Telnet session, at the @ prompt enter:
QUIT
