Supplementary Services within IP Networks
Supplementary services within an IP environment are provided over H.323 and SIP. IP Office provides the same
rich services as enjoyed within a traditional network environment. Our standards based approach allows
interoperability within mixed vendor networks.
The basic supplementary service features supported by H.323 and SIP on IP Office to IP Office IP trunk links
are listed below.
·
Basic call set up (voice)
·
Call Hold (local)
·
Call Transfer (local)
·
Called/Calling Name
·
Called/Calling Number
Additional features can be added through the use of IP Office Small Community Networking (see the following
section).
On IP trunks to non-IP Office systems the Supplementary Service will depend on those also supported by the
non-IP Office system.
