To pair the BT506 tester with the tablet

 

1.  Press and hold the 

Power

 button to turn on the MaxiCOM tablet. Ensure that 

the unit is sufficiently charged before using.   

2.  Power on the MaxiBAS BT506. 

3.  Tap 

VCI Manager

 on the MaxiSys Job Menu of the tablet. 

4.  Select

 BAS BT 

from the connection mode list. 

5.  Toggle Bluetooth 

ON

. The tablet automatically scans for an available battery 

tester for pairing. The device name will appear as “Maxi” suffixed with a serial 
number.   

6.  Check the serial number of your BT506 tester and select the desired device on 

the tablet for pairing.   

7. 

When paired successfully, the connection status will read “Connected.” 

8.  To disconnect the device, tap the connected device again. 

9.  Tap 

Back

 icon on the top-left to return to the MaxiCOM Job Menu. 

10.4 VCI Update 

The Update module provides the latest update for the MaxiCOM tablet. Before updating 
the VCI firmware, please make sure your tablet network is stable.
