Miscellaneous
Your Aton CLT321 has an in-built digital answering machine. The total capacity is approx.
40 minutes. You can operate the answering machine from the base or from any registered
handset. With a tone-dialling enabled phone you have, furthermore, PIN-protected
remote access to the answering machine.
There are two operating modes to choose from:
- Outgoing message with message recording
- Outgoing message only.
A default standard outgoing message is already recorded for each operating mode. Thus
the answering machine is immediately ready for use. If it is set to “outgoing message with
message recording”, the device automatically switches to the “outgoing message only”
operating mode when the maximum recording capacity is reached.
You can tell by the corresponding symbol on the handset display that the answering
machine is switched on.
