Switching the handset on / off
Your handset is automatically switched on and ready for use after initial charging. You can
switch off your handset in order to preserve the capacity of the battery for longer.
Switching the handset off
Hold down the
End Call key
(approx. 5 seconds).
Answer the confirmation prompt with
[Yes]
.

Please note
: When your handset is switched off it will not respond to a paging call from
the base station or to an incoming call!
Switching the keypad lock on / off
If you are carrying a handset in your pocket, switch the keypad lock on. You will thus
avoid unintentionally dialling a phone number. If you receive a call, the keypad lock will
be switched off for the duration of the call.
