During a call you can call a second call partner (inquiry call), speak alternately with each
call partner (brokering) or at the same time (three-way conference call), without requiring
two telephone lines to do so.
You can only use these options in external calls when the additional services on an
analogue network (inquiry call / brokering / three-way conference call) work for your
connection.
Your options while you are conducting an external call:
Without additional services on an analogue network:

Call another handset during an external call (internal inquiry call).

Transfer an external call to another handset.
†
Switch between external and internal call partners (brokering).

Speak simultaneously with the external and internal call partners (conference call).
With additional services on an analogue network:

Accept or reject a second external call.

Call a second external call partner (external inquiry call).

Switch between both call partners (brokering).

Speak simultaneously with both call partners (conference call).
