SMS on a PABX
You can only receive an SMS if the transmission of the phone number (CLIP) will
be forwarded to the extension connection.
The CLIP evaluation of the SMS centre’s phone number takes place on your telephone.
If your telephone is connected to a PABX, you must, if necessary, put the exchange code
in front of the phone number of the SMS centre (depending on your PABX). The exchange
code can be stored on your base.
If in doubt, test your PABX by e.g. sending an SMS to your own phone number and put
exchange code before the phone number of the SMS centre. If you do not receive this
SMS, send another SMS without adding the exchange code.
When sending an SMS your phone number will probably be sent without the extension
phone number. In this case a direct reply from the recipient is not possible.
