The pre-overload sensor is only a gauge and do not use like a dispositive of security. It give you
the information that you get half of basket load capacity and you must use the platform only inside
buildings without any wind (0Km/H). The adjustment is executed thanks to 2 verticals oblongs
holes and fixed by 2 M5.
The overload sensor works as the same way as the pre-overload sensor. However, it has got a
more precise adjustment. That why, more than the vertical adjustment up/down the 2 oblongs
holes to make approaching, the adjustment is more precise thanks to the M10 adjustment screw.
CONTROL PROCEDURE OF THE OVERLOAD
DETECTOR
- place a mass of more than 200 KG in the basket (230
KG maximum).
- check that no emergency stop is activated.
- the indicator corresponding to the overload detection
situated on the upper control box must be lit.
- the buzzer must ring.
- all the movements must be stopped.
3.9. END OF TRAVEL SENSORS
ARM (JIB) SENSOR
The arm sensor is situated at the extremity of the pendulum arm. It is on
"positive safety". It is activated as soon as the arm rises by a few
centimetres, and changes the machine to slow displacement speed.
MAST SENSOR
The mast sensor is situated at the top of the mast, on the front of the
machine. It is on "positive safety". It is activated as soon as the
arm rises by a few centimetres, and changes the machine to slow
displacement speed.
