DANGER
AVOID TOO SHORT A BRAKING
DISTANCE (LESS THAN 1 METRE)
OTHERWISE THERE IS A RISK
THAT THE MACHINE WILL TIP
OVER OR PERSONNEL WILL BE
THROWN OUT OF THE NACELLE,
ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS FULLY
DEPLOYED.
The following adjustment is necessary:
1- Turn the handle fully; use a marker or other method to place a mark opposite the 0.
2- Release the handle to between 1.5 and 2.
For your information, on a 6° slope (10%), with the machine folded back and in high speed
( ), the braking distance should be 2.5 metres ± 30 cm. If you notice after your test that
the distance measured is too high, move closer to marker 1. On the other hand, if you
notice after your test that the distance measured is too short, move closer to marker 2.
Once you have the settings you want, lock the nuts on the limiter setting screws and balancing
valves. Put the cover back on the wheel motors.

- NOTE -
The more you turn this handle the
more you will shorten the braking
distance and vice versa. You do not
need to turn the handle by more
than one turn: the max setting is
already reached beyond this.
