DANGER
THE BATTERY TRAY IS PART AND
PARCEL
OF
THE
MACHINE
COUNTERWEIGHT. REPLACING THE
TRAY BY A LIGHTER OR HEAVIER
BATTERY
WILL
MODIFY
THE
STABILITY OF THE MACHINE.
DANGER
PROCEED WITH CARE WHEN YOU
BRING THE AERIAL WORK PLATFORM
IN THE VICINITY OF IMPORTANT
DIFFERENCES IN LEVEL – HOLES AND
STEPS.
DANGER
TAKE
CONDITIONS
INTO
CONSIDERATION WHICH
COULD AFFECT MACHINE STABILITY.
IN CASE OF MACHINE OVERTURNING,
THERE IS A RISK OF SERIOUS EVEN
FATAL INJURIES.
- BEFORE USE, CONTROL THE SITE AS
A WHOLE AS WELL AS THE CONDITION
OF THE GROUND ON WHICH THE
PLATFORM WILL MOVE.
- CHECK THAT THE LOAD IN THE
AERIAL
WORK
PLATFORM
IS
CORRECTLY SPREAD AND ARRANGED
IN COMPLETE SAFETY.
- NEVER EXCEED THE NOMINAL
CAPACITY
INDICATED
ON
THE
MACHINE MANUFACTURER PLATE.
- USE THE PLATFORM ONLY ON
BEARING
AND
HORIZONTAL
SURFACES.
- DO NOT APPROACH THE PLATFORM
NEAR HOLES.
- DO NOT MOVE THE PLATFORM
ABOVE HOLES OR OTHER OBSTACLES
ON THE GROUND.
- NEVER LOWER THE PLATFORM ON
OBSTACLES SITUATED UNDER THE
LATTER.
- DO NOT USE THE MACHINE AS A
LOAD LIFTING CRANE.
- DO NOT ADD ELEMENTS WHICH
COULD INCREASE THE LOAD DUE TO
WIND, SUCH AS DISPLAY PANELS.
You must wear the clothing and the necessary protective equipment (helmet, harness, gloves,
etc…) required by the work ruling.
Do not allow anyone to control or intervene on the aerial work platform when the latter is occupied,
except in cases of emergency when it is impossible to lower the aerial work platform completely
and to step out.
2.3. STABILITY
OF
THE
MACHINE
Do not exceed the incline values (2° maximum in
work position) and the slope values (20%
maximum in low position). In work position, a
incline indicator rings and an incline indicator light,
located on the upper electrical box, lights up as
soon as you are in a dangerous situation, do not
neutralize these indicators under any pretext. It is
forbidden to bring a ladder onto the aerial work
platform to increase the work height or to climb
onto the guardrails; this adversely affects the
stability of the aerial work platform and can put you
in a dangerous situation.
To avoid any risk of accident when
negotiating a slope
or
unsmoothed
ground,
it is essential that the work
platform
be
in
folded position
, in
slow
speed
and that the
basket
be always on the
lower side
of the slope
.
