The Ping menu item lets you check the network status of devices on the KVM 
Over the NET™ switch installation:

To ping a device, do the following:

1. Key the device’s IP Address or Host Name into the text entry box.

2. Click 

OK

.

The ping results display in the 

Result

 panel.

This feature is only available on firmware version 1.7.168 and below
