Las operaciones que siguen a continuación
se refieren a una sola barra portarrueda – bo-
tella, sin embargo tiene validez incluso para ambas.
No desmonte una barra portarrueda – botella
si antes no se ha reinstalado correctamente
en el vehículo la otra barra portarrueda – bote-
lla.
◆ Desmonte la rueda delantera, véase pág. 9-113 (DES-
MONTAJE RUEDA COMPLETA).
◆ Desmonte el guardabarros delantero.
◆ Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete de soporte cen-
tral

y quite el caballete de soporte delantero
-

◆ Destornille del todo el tornillo (4) que sujeta la tija su-
perior (5) a la botella (1).
◆ Desmonte la cúpula, véase pág. 9-103 (DESMONTA-
JE CÚPULA).
◆ Destornille del todo los dos tornillos (6) que sujetan la
tija inferior (7) a la botella (1).
◆
Extraiga la barra portarrueda (2) completa de botella
(1) desde la tija superior (5) y desde la inferior (7).
Eventualmente desmonte la otra barra porta-
rrueda – botella.

REMOVING THE WHEEL-HOLDER TUBE –
SLIDER UNITS
Carefully read p. 9-16 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENER-
AL INFORMATION) and p. 9-39 (INSPECTING THE
FRONT SUSPENSION).
The operations described below are referred
to a single wheel-holder tube - slider unit, but
are valid for both.
Do not remove a wheel-holder tube - slider
unit before having correctly reinstalled the
other wheel-holder tube - slider unit on the ve-
hicle.
◆ Remove the front wheel, see p. 9-113 (REMOVING
THE WHOLE WHEEL).
◆ Remove the front mudguard.
◆ Position the vehicle on the appropriate centre support
stand

and remove the front support stand
-

◆ Completely unscrew the screw (4) that fixes the upper
plate (5) to the slider (1).
◆ Remove the front part of the fairing, see p. 9-103 (RE-
MOVING THE FRONT PART OF THE FAIRING).
◆ Completely unscrew the two screws (6) that fix the low-
er plate (7) to the slider (1).
◆
Withdraw the wheel-holder tube (2) complete with the
slider (1) from the upper plate (5) and from the lower
plate (7).
If necessary, remove the other wheel-holder
tube - slider unit.
