9. Press the [1 of 3] soft key to move to the second screen.
You can choose how hopping is implemented. You can also switch the dirty transmitter
On, Off, or On and Off. When the Dirty transmitter is switched on you can edit the Dirty
parameter table.
10. Choose “Hopping”.
11. Press the key to switch between ON, OFF and ON&OFF.
12. Choose “Dirty transmitter”.
13. Press the key to switch between ON and OFF.
14. Choose “Dirty params table edit”.
15. Press the key.
The Dirty parameters, Single sensitivity screen is displayed.
10 entries are displayed on three screens. The Drift selection is only available on the
first screen. You can make changes to the OFFSET frequency values, MODULATION
INDEX and SYMBOL TIMING ERROR (STE) shown.
16. Choose “Drift” on screen 1 of 3.
17. Press the key to switch between ON and OFF.
With Drift set to ON, the MT8850A/MT8852A transmits with a sine wave, frequency
modulation, with a deviation of ±25 kHz, rate 1.6 kHz, synchronised to zero phase at
the packet start.
18. To change any of the OFFSET, MOD INDEX and STE, choose the item, press the
key, enter the value using the keypad and press the [Enter] soft key.
19. Press the key to return to the Single sensitivity test conditions screen 2.
