Setting Up the EUT Control
The control setup enables you to configure the serial communications that are used to link
the HCI of the equipment under test to the MT8850A/MT8852A tester.
1. Press the hard key.
2. Choose “Equipment Under Test (EUT)”.
3. Press the key.
4. Choose “EUT RS232 setup”.
5. Press the key.
The EUT RS232 setup screen is displayed.

The RS232 baud rate for the MT8850A can be 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200,
38400, 57600, or 115200 baud but must be the same at both ends. For the
MT8852A, three additional rates are also available; 230400, 460800, and 921600.
•
Parity can be 0, 1 or None.
•
Data length can be 7 or 8 bits
•
Stop can be 1 or 2 bits.
6. Select the item that you want to change.
7. Repeatedly press the key until the required value is displayed.
8. Press the key to exit this screen.
