Section 2

Preparations Before Use

This instrument with standard accessories has a spare fuse.  The fuse is mounted in the

fuse holder and must be replaced if they blow.  If the fuse must be replaced, locate and

remedy the cause before replacing the blown fuse.

After performing the safety procedures described on the preceding page, replace the

fuse according to the following procedure.

Procedure

Set the front-panel [Power] switch to Stby and the rear-panel [Line] switch to OFF.  Then,

remove the power cord from the power-supply outlet.

Catch the gap with pen point, and remove the fuse-holder to pull forward.  The cap and fuse

are removed as a unit from the fuse holder.

Remove the fuse from the fuse cap and replace it with a spare fuse.

(The direction does not matter.)

Return the fuse cap with fuse to the fuse holder.
