STATUS STRUCTURE

This section describes the device-status reporting and its data structure defined by the
IEEE488.2 when the GPIB interface bus is used. This section also describes the
synchronization techniques between a controller and device.
These functions are used to control a device from an external controller using the GPIB
interface bus. Most of these functions can also be used to control a device from an
external controller using the RS-232C/Ethernet interface.
