Forwarding a fax

FAST TRACK: Display message, press
FAX
, type in recipient and fax
number, press
FAX
again.
A previously sent message can be
forwarded
(sent on to another fax number), as
follows:
1. Display the message you wish to forward. (Note that this can be a fax, email or
text message.)
2. Press
FAX
so that display top line reads
COMPOSE FAX
. (Remember, the cost
of a fax is indicated at the bottom of the screen.)
3. Type in the name of the person to whom you wish to send this message (or see
note* below.

Note – to send the message to a person whose fax number you've
previously
stored
, press
ADDRESS BOOK
, start typing in the name, then
use
U
D
and press
ENTER
to insert the name in the
To:
box.
If you're using a name from the
Address Book
, go straight to step 5.
4. If the fax number
isn't
stored in the Address Book, then move the cursor into the
Fax No:
box and type in the telephone number of the fax machine.

Note the original message will be prefixed by
>
.
5. If required, move the cursor down to the message area of the display and type in
any additional text.

Note that the name, fax number, subject and message can all be edited.
6. Press
FAX
to forward the message.
Dialling for email
will appear.
7. Once the fax has been sent successfully, press
STOP
to return to the standby
display.
At the recipient's fax machine, the forwarded message will be printed out (example
shown on page 103).

If you forwarded an email containing a plain text or graphics attachment (for
example a picture), this will be printed out by the fax machine. (For
information on attachments see page 141.)
