6.8 Setup 4-20mA Outputs
The system will output a signal proportional to the result of the sulfur measurement and
the density at the end of every analysis. These outputs can be scaled through the UTIL
screen by pressing the SetUp 4_20 button. The scale of the Trend is also controlled by
the values set in this screen. Access is allowed for OP6 (Level 6) or higher password.
The 4-20mA output for density is identical regardless of which CalSet is active but the 4-
20mA output for sulfur can be set independently for each CalSet. To access the analog
output range for each CalSet, press the AnlgRange button.
Set the highest expected sulfur result as the Pcent@20ma value and the lowest expected
result as the Pcent@4ma value.
Set the highest expected density as the 20mA DENSITY value and the lowest expected
result as the 4mA DENSITY value. Note that the units for density are gm/cc here
regardless of the selected units displayed on the Main Screen. You will need to press the
Apply button before the results will be updated with the new zero and span.
