verification. If you need to abort the verification, press the “BUSY” button on this screen or press the
Capture button on the front door.
6. When the system has finished the verification procedure, the screen will display the results in the boxes
labeled “CntsPerSec-P1” and “CntsPerSec-P2”. Note the results and press the Capture button a second
time to return to the Main screen. An unsuccessful verification will set an alarm if the results are outside
expected limits.
Note: the verification procedure may be repeated as many times as desired by following steps 4 through 6.

When you are satisfied with the verification results and have returned to the Main screen, make sure the
Manual Vent Valve and Manual Drain Valve are closed, then open the Manual Outlet and Inlet Valves and
turn the Valve or Pump Control Switch back to the ENABLED position.
The X-rays will turn back on when the sample fills the density meter. The density warning will be cleared
automatically. If the analyzer has been empty for more than 30 minutes, let the system warm up for at least
30 minutes after the flow cell and density meter have been filled.
